ATTENDANCE / PUNCTUALITY
A student's academic progress can be greatly affected by absences and tardiness. Good attendance and punctuality are major goals of our school. As part of the truancy intervention program (TIP), excessive student absences are monitored by the Florida State's Attorney's office. Please send a note when your child is absent.
(see Code of Student Conduct for acceptable reasons) Family trips involving absences must be approved in advance by the principal. We are required to record the number of unexcused absences.
